If you enjoy a beer every once in a while, leave your cash at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your purse, your money belt, and leave all cash, charge cards and chequebooks at home. Only take only the money you intend to spend on refreshments, tips and whatever pocket change you intend to lose and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You might experience a profit after a drunken evening out with your compatriots and be lucky sufficiently to hit a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps game. Don’t forget that account seeing that it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and bet. These activities just do not mix.
Leaving your cash out of the casino might be a tiny bit dramatic, but defensive measures for excessive behavior is necessary. If you play to win, then don’t drink and play. If you like to burn your assets without a concern, then consume all the gratuitous alcohol your stomach can handle, but don’t pack plastic credit and checkbooks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your befuddled self squanders all the cash!
